Terms and conditions
1. General Information
Eventos y Servicios San Sebastián SAC is a licensed Peruvian travel agency specializing in cultural, adventure, and nature experiences, exclusively in the Cusco region. By booking any of our services, you agree to the terms and conditions described in this document.
2. Reservations and Payments
2.1 Booking Procedure
You can book through our website, by email, WhatsApp, or directly with one of our travel advisors. To confirm your reservation, a deposit or full payment is required, depending on the service selected.
2.2 Payment Methods
We accept payments via bank transfer, credit/debit card, PayPal, and other secure online platforms. Any transaction fees generated by these methods are the client’s responsibility.
2.3 Pricing Policy
All prices are expressed in US dollars (USD) and include the services specified in the tour itinerary, such as transportation, entrance fees, meals, and certified guides (as applicable). Travel insurance, tips, personal expenses, and services not explicitly mentioned are not included. Prices are subject to change due to currency fluctuations or changes in third-party rates.
2.4 Final Balance
If only a deposit is paid upon booking, the remaining balance must be paid no later than 5 days before the tour starts. Failure to do so may result in cancellation without refund.
3. Cancellations and Refunds
3.1 Cancellations by the Client
All cancellations must be made in writing (email or WhatsApp). Refunds are issued according to the following policy:
More than 15 days before the tour: 80% refund
Between 7 and 15 days before: 50% refund
Less than 7 days: no refund
3.2 Cancellations by the Agency
Eventos y Servicios San Sebastián SAC reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any service due to force majeure, including, but not limited to: natural disasters, strikes, public health issues, social unrest, or any situation that compromises the safety of our clients. In such cases, alternative dates or a partial refund will be offered, depending on the circumstances.
3.3 Refund Processing
Refunds will be processed within 7 business days, less any applicable administrative or banking fees.
4. Modifications and Changes
4.1 Client Requests
Any changes to passenger information, dates, or services must be requested in advance and are subject to availability and additional costs.
4.2 Changes by the Agency
Eventos y Servicios San Sebastián SAC may adjust itineraries, departure times, or service components when necessary due to weather conditions, operational issues, or safety concerns. In all cases, equivalent service will be provided.
5. Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for:
Possessing valid personal identification or travel documents
Informing the agency of any medical conditions or dietary restrictions
Following the instructions provided by guides and staff
Respecting the local culture, environment, and communities
Being physically prepared for tours, particularly those involving high altitudes
6. Agency Responsibilities
Eventos y Servicios San Sebastián SAC guarantees high standards of service and ongoing support throughout your experience. However, we are not responsible for:
Accidents or losses due to circumstances beyond our control
Delays or cancellations caused by third-party services (e.g., trains, airlines)
Political unrest, strikes, or decisions of government authorities
Loss or theft of personal belongings during the tour
7. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that all travelers purchase comprehensive travel insurance that includes coverage for medical emergencies, trip interruption, cancellations, and personal belongings. The agency does not offer travel insurance.
8. Claims and Jurisdiction
Any formal claim must be submitted in writing within 10 days of the completion of the service. In the event of a dispute, Peruvian law will apply, and all matters will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Cusco.
