4:30 AM: Hotel Pickup in Cusco
Your day begins early with a transfer from your hotel to the train station. Depending on availability and coordination, your departure may be from Ollantaytambo or Poroy station.

6:00 AM: Scenic Train Ride to Aguas Calientes
Board your selected train (Expedition, Vistadome, or Luxury Class) for a scenic journey through the Sacred Valley and into the cloud forest. Enjoy views of rivers, mountains, and lush greenery along the way.

8:00 AM: Arrival in Aguas Calientes
Upon arrival, your guide will meet you and accompany you to the shuttle bus for the short ride up to the Machu Picchu entrance gate.

8:30 AM: Entrance and Guided Tour of Machu Picchu
Enter the sacred citadel and embark on a 2 to 2.5-hour guided tour covering the most important sectors:

  • The Temple of the Sun
  • The Main Plaza
  • The Sacred Rock
  • The Royal Tombs
  • The Intihuatana (Sun Dial)

3:30 PM: Train Back to Ollantaytambo
Board your return train and enjoy the peaceful journey through the valley.

5:00 PM: Arrival in Ollantaytambo & Transfer to Cusco
Your driver will be waiting to take you back to your hotel in Cusco.

7:30 PM: Arrival at Hotel in Cusco
