4:30 AM: Hotel Pickup in Cusco
Depart early from Cusco and begin your journey south through the Canas province, home to some of the most authentic Andean communities.

7:00 AM: Breakfast Stop in Combapata or Yanaoca
Enjoy a simple breakfast at a local stop while your guide explains the cultural and historical importance of the bridge.

8:30 AM: Visit the Four Lagoons
Before reaching the bridge, stop at Pampamarca, Asnacocha, Acopía, and Pomacanchi Lakes. These high-altitude lagoons are known for their pristine beauty, birdlife, and tranquil reflections.

10:30 AM: Arrival at Q’eswachaka Inca Bridge
Arrive at the famous bridge suspended 15 meters above the Apurímac River. Learn how locals from nearby communities — using only grass fiber (ichu) — reconstruct the bridge every June in a 3-day ceremony that involves weaving, music, and ritual.

11:00 AM: Optional Walk Across the Bridge
Feel the thrill of stepping onto the handmade suspension bridge — a unique chance to literally walk across history. (Optional but highly recommended for the full experience.)

12:00 PM: Free Time for Photos & Exploration
Capture panoramic photos, observe the gorge below, and interact with local families who may be present at the site.

1:00 PM: Return Drive & Lunch Stop
Head back toward Cusco with a stop for a delicious local lunch prepared by a community kitchen or local restaurant.

5:00 PM: Arrival in Cusco
